Compatibility archetype Legate + feat Fortified Armor Training

Dilemma: "Can a paladin, with legate archetype, while wearing the force armor choose the feat Fortified Armor Training to negate critical hits or not ?

Basically can a force armor take the broken condition?
The spell "instant armor" specifies only penalties, weight, spell check etc. , but not HP, hardness of the force which instead is mentioned in "wall of force spell".

Can the archetype and feat stack in order to negate critical hits as swift action?

the way it's worded, it implies that the armor is in every way "normal" for armor of it's type. As written, not only would the armor have normal hardness and HP (and therefore would work with the aforementioned feat), but it also is not considered masterworked despite it having magic armor bonuses.

The only benefit the "force" aspect of it seems to convey is that it prevents incorporeal creatures from bypassing it.
