A Combat Master

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I am a software developer and a writer on the side. I was recently introduced to the Pathfinder RPG and started writing an adventure story loosely based on concepts found in Pathfinder. I wanted to get your opinion on one idea that I had:
A Combat Master
This individual is shrouded in black with black smoke seeming to emanate from his skin. He is covered in black clothes with black boots, black gloves, a black hood, and even a black cloth covering his face. He always has a black bladed scythe at his side.
Each combat master is bound to a portable dungeon which is accessible through a doorway that the combat master makes appear with a wave of his arm.
The combat master is neither good nor evil but dispatches judgement based on his own digression.
The combat master's sole purpose is the thrill and pleasure of the combat of the combatants that enter his dungeon.
When the combat master is summoned, he challenges the summoner to give a good reason for the summoning. Upon acceptance, the summoner and party is allowed to fight in the dungeon.
When the combatants are ready to leave the dungeon, they are again challenged by the combat master for a proper enough reason for leaving.

Sounds like dangerous levels of Chuunibyou. Might be fun, might be really embarrassing too.

Here is more information on this mysterious individual:
The Combat Master is a mysterious individual shrouded all in black. With black hair, black monk’s robes, black gloves, black boots, black bladed scythe, black cloth covering his face, and even black smoke emanating from his skin, the Combat Master is hidden in the unknown. It is currently unknown how old they are, how they came to be, or even if they eat and sleep. We do know they are of average build, their bodies are in excellent health, and they are very powerful. The Combat Master is neither good nor evil and does whatever he sees fit for the situation at hand.

Each Combat Master is bound to a single combat training dungeon, which resides on a separate plane of existence. A doorway to this dungeon can be called forth by the Combat Master at any time and at any place. The Combat Master has complete jurisdiction over the dungeon and all who enter and all who are summoned inside.

While we do not know how a Combat Master comes into existence, we do know how one ceases to exist. It was observed by a peasant, from a distance, on a dirt road between two cities that a Combat Master attempted to get a passing traveler to enter his dungeon. Much to his dismay, the traveler refused and continued on his way. The Combat Master seemed to wrestle with the very air around him until he let out an agonizing scream and fell lifeless to the ground. The doorway nearby imploded and vanished. It can be assumed from this encounter that the purpose of each Combat Master is to attract individuals to train in their bound combat dungeons. Since this is the only recorded incident, we cannot determine the period of inactivity before a Combat Master is dealt with in this manner.

It is also recorded that the peasant took the robes of the Combat Master to a nearby scholar for chronicling the event and for study of the robes. The scythe was reported too heavy for the peasant to carry, so he left that behind. The scholar, curious to know what would happen, tried on the robes. After donning the complete outfit, which included the gloves, boots, and cloth covering the face, nothing happened. The scholar concluded that there was more to becoming a Combat Master than just putting on the outfit. The peasant led the scholar to where the incident took place, but by the time they got there, the scythe was gone. There was no record of it being found.
