Voss, my point is that saying "Absalom is LN and has slavery, therefore slavery can't be evil" is the same as saying "a Lawful Neutral kingdom can't have any evil things, or it becomes Lawful Evil", which doesn't make sense.

Therefore, slavery can be Evil even though it exists in some Neutral governments.

In fact, I would say "slave owners are mostly evil, some are neutral, and none are good" is a very strong argument that slavery is Evil.

Irregardless of all of this, my original point stands: If you are a divine paragon of freedom and benevolence, and you do nothing to oppose slavery (definitionally the opposite of freedom), then you are not a paragon of freedom, at the very least, and I don't think you are a paragon of benevolence either.

EDIT: Worth mentioning that Paizo seems to agree with me, since in Pathfinder Online employing slaves was one of the few "heinous" acts. You can argue that's because it was set in the River Kingdoms, but necromancy was also a heinous act and there's no River Freedom against necromancy.

People can do Evil things and not become Evil right away. In fact, if they aren't Evil, they are probably easier to set right than someone who is. An Evil slaver is likely much more enthusiastic about the institution than a Neutral slaver. A Neutral slaver might have doubts about the trade or be forced into their Evil acts one way or another.

Folks,

There has been some good discussion about the paladins code in this thread, but it is rapidly turning into a disucssion of slavery in Golarion.

While this is an important discussion, it has nothing to do with the playtest.
