This thread houses updates and status for new avatar images added for our community to use. You can change your avatar image, as well as the avatar image(s) used by your alias(es) by heading to your My Account page.
How are images selected for the avatar pool?
Images that are available for avatar selection must meet a variety of criteria, subject to our discretion. These commonly involve scalability (will the detail be retained appropriately when resized), aspect ratio (will a goblin's generally football-shaped head fit appropriately in a square), and contrast/quality.
Can I request an avatar image?
No. We are unable to accommodate specific avatar requests.
Can I upload my own avatar image?
No. Custom images require additional moderation, copyright considerations, and other complications that we'd prefer to avoid.

Quick update!
No new avatars to announce, but wanted to give status: because of some exciting upcoming projects our next batch will be dropping next Friday, 12/7.

Hey folks! We apologize for the delays, as the team has been hit with a round of sickness as well. I've just attempted to load in a large batch of new avatars into (about 200!) but alas have run into a new festive group of goblins blocking the way this afternoon. I've tapped in a few other tech folks who will be stepping in after the holiday next week to give these a nudge. Once the avatars are freed and showing on the page, y'all will see access to avatars from:

Ruins of Azlant Adventure Path
In the new year I hope to wrap up the AP volumes and catch up on hardcovers and the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game.

Apologies for the delay in updates! We just pushed through a fix that should have dislodged the last update and those new avatars should now be selectable. I don't have a new timeframe to provide at the moment for the next batch, but will post when we have a better idea of when we can get that scheduled (my hunch is sometime in mid-February).
