Greyhawk Specific Prestige Classes?

3.5/d20/OGL

Does anybody have a list of Prestige Classes specific to the human subgroups of Oerth? I know the Fist of Zuoken is a very Baklunish PrC, and of course there's the Suel Arcanamach... anything else? Specifically, I'm looking for Baklunish PrCs, but anything I can add to my List will help.

Thanks,

TK

I originally wrote this for a Greyhawk Prestige Classes Dragon Article Request thread a while back.

List of Greyhawk prestige classes published so far (as far as I'm aware):

- Suel Arcanamach (Complete Arcane)
- Radiant Servant of Pelor (Complete Divine)
- Shining Blade of Heironeous (Complete Divine)
- Temple Raider of Olidammara (Complete Divine)
- Ur-Priest (Complete Divine)
- Knight Protector (Complete Warrior)
- Fist of Zuoken (Expanded Psionics Handbook)
- Fist of Hextor (Sword & Fist)
- Ravager (Sword & Fist)
- Doomdreamer (Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil)
- Fleet Runner of Ehlonna (Dragon #283)
- Mighty Contender of Kord (Dragon #283)
- Glaive of Azharadian (Dragon #293)
- Knight of the Chase (Dragon #297)
- Mask of Johydee (Dragon #302)
- Wormhunter (Dragon #338)
- Knight of Holy Shielding (Dungeon #113)
- Darkhagard (Living Greyhawk Journal #2)
- Vetha (Living Greyhawk Journal #2)
- Silent One (Living Greyhawk Journal #4)

It could be argued that the following are also Greyhawk prestige classes:

- Eye of Gruumsh (Complete Warrior)
- Champion of Corellon Larethian (Races of the Wild)
- Hammer of Moradin (Player's Guide to Faerun)
- Fang of Lolth (Song & Silence)
- Platinum Knight (Draconomicon)
- Sacred Warder of Bahamut (Draconomicon)
- Talon of Tiamat (Draconomicon)
- Unholy Ravager of Tiamat (Draconomicon)
- Vassal of Bahamut (Book of Exalted Deeds)

I'm not too sure if the Ur-Priest should be on this list. I always thought the prestige class was based off the ancient Ur-Flan from Greyhawk's early history but I could be mistaken.

Thanks, Hagen!

"Ur-" is a prefix meaning original or primitive. The Ur-Flan are thus the proto-Flan people who lived in the Flanaess long before the arrival of the other races into the region. I'm not exactly sure why Ur-Priests are called that.

Hagen, would you mind giving me a brief synopsis of the Fleet Runner of Ehlonna PrC from Dragon #283 (assuming you have it handy)? I'm running (as DMPC for Age of Worms) a cleric of Ehlonna who is a good archer (2 levels of ranger), and trying to figure out how to get a little more mileage out of the archery side without gutting the cleric abilities at high levels. And I don't want to spring $10 for a back issue if it's nowhere close to what I want.

It's not the greatest prestige class. Keep in mind this came out in the early days of 3rd edition. However, the theme is interesting and if the prestige class was revised to 3.5 and the bonus spells were replaced with actual spell levels, it would be much more attractive.

Leap of the Hart: Level 3. Character's height doesn't affect jump.
Shot on the Run: Level 4. Like the feat.
Run like the Huntress: Level 5. Fleet runner can run for Con X 2 and gains +8 bonus to continue running after that.
Improved Evasion: Level 6.
Run like the Wind: Level 7. Dimension Door 1/day

Actually, the Fleet Runner of Ehlonna was updated to 3.5 in the Dragon Compendium. They're half-casters (+1 caster level at even levels) now, instead of the bonus spells, and the requirements have been shuffled around a little, but otherwise it's as Hagen says.

Oh, and Leap of the Hart is now long jumps without the prerequisite run-up first.

Thanks guys! Cool! I don't think this would work for my AoW Cleric/Ranger, who will need full spellcasting capability (minus the two ranger levels) to serve as party cleric in an undead heavy campaign, but it does sound like an interesting PrC. Maybe I'll have to think about investing in Dragon Compendium. Is it a good buy, Thanis?
