Question about legal issue

Hello,

So, i decided recently to write my own campaign setting and wanted to know : I love Paizo's universe and i wanted to include Lashuntas and Samsarans into my campaign.
My simple question is : Can I ? Do i need to change things like the name ? Can i just rename them, reskin a little and use it for my commercial product ?

The main reason i'm asking this on the forums, is because even when searching through the internet, i just got results which i absolutely don't understand about the legal thing. If you could answer with very basic words how it works it would be great :D

I already checked the OGL and i don't understand what i am allowed to use as open gaming content or not. I also don't understand if i can use it without writing the full OGL at the end of my book.

Do you plan to distribute it or is it for personal use?

If it is for personal use and it will never be distributed, you can do anything you want and add whatever element you want to your world.

If you intend to distribute it (freely or otherwise), it is my understanding (I'm not a lawyer though) than the full OGL must be incluses and anything that is the propriety of Paizo cannot be used unless:
a) it use is authorized by the community use policy for non-commercial use/distribution or;
b) Paizo has granted you explicit permission, likely through contract, to use it for commercial use.

Your best option, is to contact them directly and give them the full details. They can give you a much better answer than we can.
