Why are there two separate sets of parry feats, dueling for one handed weapons and twin for two weapon fighting? Also, why can't you parry with a two handed weapon? It's actually a lot easier to with a longer haft or blade. It would be a lot easier and make more sense to have one set of parry rules, which worked with all types of weapons. You could still have feats for special abilities like if you parry while wielding 2 weapons, have a reaction to Strike with your off hand weapon, or if you parry with a dueling/finesse weapon, have a riposte feat you can use (but not have to be limited to having a free hand).

There is an attribute for some weapons for this. I think it is called 'block'. But I could be wrong on the name. So that would be your blocking/parrying with a long hafted weapon.

And yes, I think it is odd that there are separate feats for parry with an empty hand and parry with a second weapon. I guess technically those are two separate things.

In the empty hand parry, you are parrying with the weapon in your primary hand. But with the two weapon parry you are parrying with the off-hand weapon.
