I found the wording to be confusing - I couldn't easily tell how many spells you actually know at different levels. Bringing back a spells known table would be a lot more clear. It would also make creating a higher level character a lot easier - rather than having to figure out how many you add and at what level, to figure out what you know at any particular level.
