The triggers for all of these say they only apply to using quick alchemy. Is there a reason you can't make things like smoke bombs, debilitating bombs, etc. either with advanced alchemy, or even regular crafting? Seems pretty weird that you can't get your cool toys unless you make your temporary jinked together alchemy, and that the alchemy you take the time to craft carefully (relatively speaking) can never have these effects.

The only reason is the rules say you cannot. Personally I think its a horrific restriction and I hope it gets changed to anything the alchemist makes with resonance. Its probably a bit to strong to allow them to use all those feats on alchemical items made by normal crafting though, especially if you allow the +damage dice increase as alchemist advances in level.


It's only too strong if it is allowed for free. The various additive abilities could just specify a cost modifier / multiplier in their description for when they are used with normal crafting.
