Is it possible in PFS to Touch the Starstone and become divine? Or is it auto-death for the character involved (I.E., an impossible task & the character dies during the test)?

Similar thread from four years ago.

The short answer is that it’s not something you can even contemplate in PFS. It’s way beyond the scope of any published adventure.

Thanks for the link. Not all of us were on this board four years ago.

Looks like my Cleric of Cayden is suicidal...

How many licks does it take to get to the center of the Starstone?
- An Owl (possibly a Druid since owls don’t typically talk)

Only lick the Starstone if you are a grippli.

We can only be so lucky

While I wouldn't wish the extra work on our overlords, it'd be so neat to think that campaign coin holders could run a test of the starstone created exclusively for their 20th level seeker. I could even see the game having multiple GMs, each with a different part of the maze...

And while it'd run completely contrary to the metalore of the test of the starstone, I'd probably donate to some charity just to see it streamed live.

In case you missed it, the purpose of the OP springs from this
lengthy anecdote.

Grand Lodge

In the context of PFS, you're not even going to get to take the test, since there's a couple of steps before that. First, cross the bottomless chasm without using the bridges. Then the approach the door, which will decide if you're even worthy of attempting the test.

Of course, a random drunk PFS character could realistically find out just how deep the bottomless chasm is and accidentally off themselves in a Starstone-themed way :)

Liberty's Edge 1/5

Eh, bottomless chasms are easy to circumvent with spells like Air Walk, Fly, Dimension Door & Teleport. All easily available to a Cleric of Cayden who is sensible enough to take in the highly usefull Travel domain.

How does worthy get defined? Please remember that Norberger got through.
