Fighter: Power Attack Crit

Classes

I tried to search but didn't find anything.
Does a power attack with a greatsword and crits really do 4d12 damage or is it 3d12?

As I read the crit rules, 4d12 (or 6d12 if you're a 10th-level fighter). Pretty good for a non-magical weapon.

AFAICT the only things that don't get doubled are those that occur only a crit, like 'deadly'. I presume this is for simplicity.

Thanks for your answer :)
It happened in my last game. The damage (over 30) was quite a lot for a 1st Level fighter. The other players didn't even come close to such a number.

Yep, in the first Playtest Adventure:

Spoiler for Lost Star:
Our fighter critted on a power attack of one of the Quasits, one-shotting it in round 1. It made for a huge advantage in that battle.

non-spoiler: We had that happen at a great moment.
