Are monster names in the Bestiaries open game content?

For example Kolyarut, Inevitable. If I had to guess creatures such as the 4 horsemen's names are not, or stat blocks for deities are not. What about names that are from other open-source things such as Charon as one of the 4 horsemen, or Baphomet the deity?

Everything in hardcover bestiaries is open content.

99% of stuff in APs/Campaign Setting/Player Companions books is open content.

There are some exceptions, like some of the Lovecraftian monsters which were licensed from Chaosium, the Deep Crow (licensed from Penny Arcade) and Coeurl (licensed from A. van Vogt's estate).

I can't imagine how you'd copyright real life mythological names. Besides the practical difficulties it sounds like a PR disaster waiting to happen.

You can't copyright the names, but you can copyright an interpretation of what's behind the name and how it's presented. Tiamat the real-world mythological demon is public domain, Tiamat the five-headed dragon god-queen is not.

IIRC anything in the SRD is usable by all. Some creature don't have their personal names listed though.
