I was trying to make a 2E 'brawler' starting with the monk, but I'm not entirely happy with either staying single-classed, or taking either the fighter or rogue dedication. Rogue because the theme doesn't match, and fighter because armor and weapon proficiency don't do much.
So would anyone like to help brainstorm a barbarian dedication? I imagine a rage action with stunted damage progression, along with Intimidate as a signature skill as the dedication feat. I also think one feat could involve getting a totem. Any thoughts?

I'm pretty sure you'd get a rage pool (i.e. times you get to use rage equal to your CON, which might increase with dedication feats). If they were to cap rage's damage progression completly it would suck. As +2 damage at level 10 is not worth the loss in AC. Maybe the damage progression scales of dedication feats (+1 per feat)?
They might also limit temporary HP to half level+CON.
Also I'd assume that your granted skill is prolly Athletics as it matches up with your required ability (16 STR).
Second feat gives you a rage power
Third gives you a level 1 totem ability or the other way round?

Usually there's multiple level 4 feats. So it could be level 4 barbarian 1 or 2 feat and level 4 totem.
Rage amounts per day doesn't seem consistent with the rest of the dedications. As for stunted growth, I imagined +2 at first, +3 at 10, and +4 at 18.
That seems way too high (which seems laughable). Compare to sneak attack through the rogue dedication. Getting it at all is a second feat, and only 1d4, rising to 1d6 at 6th, and never improving again.
