At the Organized Play panel at PaizoCon, Tonya said that Season 1 is being extended for the coming year. Given that they started off the first half+ of the season only doing 1 scenario/month, there are still stories they want to tell or complete that are integral to Season 1.

Therefore, in or about Oct/Nov they will be issuing an Update to the Season 1 Guild Guide. It will include some updates, corrections, and clarifications. It will also include one major change: Legacy Races will be Always Available after publication of the updated guide.

The statements here are correct. We're looking for a roughly November time frame on updating the guide. Then likely a follow-up once we move into Season 2 around June 2019.

And as far as I can see, those characters would be eligible for the existing characters benefit of Admittance boons from earlier in the season (but not retrospectively: a legacy race character would have to have been "earned" and "in your possession" at the date you applied the chronicle).

What about a lvl 1 rebuilt legacy race character? Would they still be eligible to apply the second benefit (or free up the sweet sweet Promo slot)? :)

I assume you mean personal boon slot. That's actually an interesting question, one of my half-orcs is playing the tier 5-8 scenario which includes a non-race personal boon tomorrow.

Would a PC who already has a boosted ability score from such boons gain an additional benefit?

The boosted ability score would still go in the Personal Slot, I believe.

I'm not certain you have to make a choice. The boon is consumed in its use, so it doesn't occupy any slot.

That seems correct, otherwise you couldn't slot both the race boon and the ability score boost since they'd both be personal boons.
