"Lore" is a poor name for the skill

You can use "lore" to practice your trade... That really doesn't make any sense in a strictly grammatical sense. Simply calling the skill "Profession" and adapting some of the Background names to accommodate, or renaming it to "Trade" or some other name that's more appropriate would make sense.

Agreed, it's quite confusing.

BTW, shouldn't this be under Skills etc, not Ancestries? (Flagged.)

I put it under ancestries because your background (included under ancestries) is what gives you this... thought that was appropriate, though you are perhaps right that moving it might make sense.
