I am having some trouble creating my next site adventure, I thought I would look at some of the Paizo APs for inspiration. There's so much material to look through, though!
In the APs that you've played or GMed, what dungeons / site adventures stuck out as particularly well done? What captured your attention about it?
I am particularly interested in areas with believable ecosystems or have a properly lived-in feel (manned fortresses etc), but really, any location that you have enjoyed running or playing through would be greatly appreciated.

Note: these are not AP locations, but rather locations from modules.
The carnival of Carnival of Tears
Explanation: This one has great flavor--a carnival that slowly becomes a grindhouse of horror. There's great locations for both before and after it all goes sideways--the ale tent, the peep show, the faked oddities tent, the wonders of modern engineering, and, oh god, the Biggy-Piggy Pie Eating Tent. The final fight is on a frozen river.
Cage of Delirium
Explanation: The location? A haunted asylum. The party must explore what caused its destruction and right what went wrong. Atmospheric. Lots of great investigation. A surgery room. The patient records. The grounds. The laundry room. The nursery...

Skeletons of Scarwall is one of my all time favorites - there's a non-mint copy listed there for $3.75 which is hard to go past (or only $5 if you don't want a ding or two!)
I do think the revised version is a significant improvement but you're obviously looking at a much bigger investment. Nonetheless, this is one of the best APs of all times, in my view, so I'd definitely recommend springing for the collated version, updated for Pathfinder.

I neglected to mention modules. They are, of course, welcome. I spent some time paging through Academy of Secrets, which is a cramped 8 room adventure. Are most of the modules that limited in scope?
Curse of the Crimson Throne in general's gotten quite high praise, so I'll see if I can check it out.

The later modules (since Dragon's Demand) are longer than the earlier products. Ire of the Storm was a fun one that includes several encounter locations -- but that makes it less of a site adventure and more of a multi-site adventure.
My favorite location-specific adventure is the alien-infested island with the rolling tower in Children of the Void, book 2 of Second Darkness, but it's written for 3.5 rules so would require a bit of updating to run in Pathfinder.
