I'm sorry to hear you have a defective book! Your first step will be to see if the place you purchased it from can exchange it for you, as we have steps in place to replace damaged or defective items through distribution. If they cannot please send us a picture or two of the defective book, along with a good shipping address to customer.service@paizo.com and we should be able to get a replacement sent out to you.
