The kineticist gets a size bonus to physical stats from elemental overflow. It's clear that this doesn't stack with things that are explicitly size bonuses, such as those gained from beast shape spells, but does it stack with stats granted to small races due to size such as a halflings dex bonus? Is there a reason why this is a size bonus?
Another question along those lines, could a creature use kinetic form to qualify for feats with a size requirement such as an ogre's glutonous gobbler feat? I like the idea of taking racial heritage(ogre), grabbing glutonous gobbler, and swallowing the target with a mass of kinetic energy, but I'm unsure whether that is intended or how that would look. Could you gobble them if your grapple was being done via telekinetic maneuvers?
Sorry for the weird questions. I'm just trying to figure out what the outer bounds of this class are.
The Halfling's Dex bonus is racial, not size. I'm assuming it's a size bonus because that's a relatively common bonus type, like how Hunters get enhancement bonuses with their animal focus.
As for your second question, I'm fairly certain that Kinetic Form qualifies you for size requirements, much like how being able to cast the fly spell qualifies you for things that have a fly speed as a prerequisite. As for grappling with telekinetic maneuvers... I don't think so. Not unless they were adjacent to you.
It's mostly the "you can put the grappled creature in your mouth as a move action" part of gluttonous gobbler that had me wondering.
Gluttonous Gobbler
Some ogres are able to quickly choke down even the largest of meals so they can get on with other business.
Prerequisites: Both Improved Unarmed Strike and Improved Grapple or the grab ability, ogre, size Large or larger.
Benefit: If you start your turn grappling another creature at least two size categories smaller than you, you can put the grappled creature in your mouth as a move action and attempt another grapple combat maneuver check (as though attempting to pin the opponent). If you succeed, you swallow the opponent as if you had the swallow whole special ability.
