Can a Synthesist select Feats for which he only has the prerequisites when fused?

Hey. I'm playing a Synthesist Summoner Gnome and want to select the Feat "Power Attack". The Gnome itself has an STR of 6, but while fused i'd have an STR of 16 (from a normal sized biped Eidolon), which'd mean i'd have the prerequisits of STR 13 and BAB +1 for Power Attack fulfilled in the fused form.
My question is: Am i able to select that feat?

as far as i know any effect that can last 24 hours or more is considered constant enough to take feats for, but when the effect doesn't work you can't use said feats or anything that have them as requirements.

Generally you can take feats in circumstances like this, but you can only use them while you meet the pre-reqs. In this case, you would not be able to use power attack while not fused.
