Are you certain m8?
Grappled: A grappled creature is restrained by a creature, trap, or effect. Grappled creatures cannot move and take a –4 penalty to Dexterity. A grappled creature takes a –2 penalty on all attack rolls and combat maneuver checks, except those made to grapple or escape a grapple. In addition, grappled creatures can take no action that requires two hands to perform.A grappled character who attempts to cast a spell or use a spell-like ability must make a concentration check (DC 10 + grappler's CMB + spell level), or lose the spell. Grappled creatures cannot make attacks of opportunity.
A grappled creature cannot use Stealth to hide from the creature grappling it, even if a special ability, such as hide in plain sight, would normally allow it to do so. If a grappled creature becomes invisible, through a spell or other ability, it gains a +2 circumstance bonus on its CMD to avoid being grappled, but receives no other benefit.
Wand Activation: Wands use the spell trigger activation method, so casting a spell from a wand is usually a standard action that doesn't provoke attacks of opportunity. (If the spell being cast has a longer casting time than 1 action, however, it takes that long to cast the spell from a wand.) To activate a wand, a character must hold it in hand (or whatever passes for a hand, for nonhumanoid creatures) and point it in the general direction of the target or area. A wand may be used while grappling or while swallowed whole.
I think the Concentration check is required, can you elaborate why it is not needed?

Here's a discussion where they cover this;

There are specific rules WRT spell completion and spell-like abilities (both require concentration checks). There is nothign specifically mentioned about spell trigger items and concentration. However, it onyl requires a command word and holding/pointing the item, no mention is made, specifically, of strong mental focus and you specifically do not have to provide any of the normal components (VSM for normal magic, or emotion and thought for psychic). I'm pretty sure the RAI is that spell trigger items should not require concentration checks.
Occasionally magic items use the term cast to refer to giving a spell effect, but they are clearly not casting in the sense of provoking attacks of opportunity or requiring concentrations checks. An example is the Scabbard of Keen Edges. I think this is more a case of loose terminology than making those actions actually the "cast a spell" action; for example, the scabbard is definitely a command word activated Wonderous Item, not a spell completion (or even spell trigger) item.
