3rd time playing a Witch, and i thought i'd go against the grain with the stats to make an interesting PC.
lVL 5
STR - 14
DEX - 14 (+1 at lvl 4 and DEX belt)
CON - 14
INT - 20 (+2 human)
WIS - 7
CHA - 7
This has been hilarious to play.
So far, i've managed to save 2 fellow PCs from a falling stone ceiling with STR check.
Avoided drowning thanks to CON.
Assisted our Arcanist in killing a boss with daggers.
But the funniest part, is a new PC wrote up a 7ft tall Lizard folk Barbarian with STR 20 challenges me to an arm wrestle (STR vs STR), i roll a 19 and he rolls an 8.
Gets sulky and wants a rematch, almost same result.
Gets even more sulky, challenges Arcanist with STR 10, loses again :D
Much laughing was had, and poking fun at the huge barbarian bested by all the squishy spell casters!

If you were a half-orc you'd be able to use more than just daggers and keep the +2 to any stat. You could endurance as a bonus feat instead of intimidating but you don't have need for that. Intimidating Prowess paired with Bruising Intellect would make for a "scary" witch. Str 14 is enough for power attack or more damage than a witch is allowed to do with a weapon. Muleback cords add 8 str for carry weight but the real benefit is that you look like you have 8 more str. That 14 would look like 22 and that's scary, truly intimidating.

Didn't even think of a half-orc :)
My intimidation is nerfed, i'm already at -2 and due to an accident with our campaign, it's nerfed further.
We're searching for god boxes, and there was an evil one. Our barbarian wanted to pick it up, rolled a nat 20, no effects.
I picked it up, rolled a nat 1. Was possesed by the demon lord Orcus CR35, and went on a rampage raising undead, killing everyone. I had to roll a nat 20 (once per day, 90 days limit or soul sapped).
It took me 74 days to roll one, so now my witch has lost 7/9s of her soul, and the DM slapped a -2 on all CHA skills for being almost fully soulless.
So intimidate, -4 base :D

My half orc witch has STR 14 (DEX 14, CON 16, INT 20, WIS 10 and CHA 10). In a non-cannon battle royal not dumping STR allowed me to hurl the slumbering barbarian into a deep pit. I felt a little bad for him as he spent most of the session in there due to poor rolling but it was either him or me.
If you like occasionally going into melee you might want to consider picking up the Poison Touch hex at some point. It gives your target a temporary poison claw attack (1 min/level) that does STR damage with a DC of 10 + 1/2 your witch level + your INT mod (if the target already has a claw attack you add +1 to the DC). The downside is that you can't use it on the same target more than once in 24 hours but it's a great option for using on summoned creatures.

With this set up I would be tempted to go into Eldritch Knight.
With the Strength Patron you get Divine Favor (One of the best buff spells; better with fate's favored trait with half orcs happen to love) and along with a level in fighter you could have close to complete casting with roughly the BAB or a bard or rogue.
You could make a solid melee build that fighters would envy. And if you can't smash an opponent with a falchion, just curse them!

Bruising Intellect makes it an int based check :). Since you can't change race or traits, you may want to consider the extra traits feat to get Bruising intellect but then again, feats for a not so focused intimidate build would be a waste.

I'm sorry, but this doesn't even come close to the crazyness of pre-erratum Scarred Witch Doctor. Nothing says "frail arcane caster" like a 20 starting constitution + Endurance!
Also perfect for melee Witch/EK, obviously.

Because nothign says "unintimidating" like a Witch that cna not only f&$+ you up with a thought, but arm wrestle a Barbarian!
