A question about Channel Energy

So I haven't seen all that many questions about this, and I and a friend are getting a little confused thinking about this.

How would channel energy react to someone who is healed by both Positive and Negative energies, like say, the Cyclic Energy ability of the Olethros Psychopomp in Beastiary 6? And we are wondering about channeling Positive energy to Heal/Damage, and Channeling Negative energy to Heal/damage.

When you channel you choose if it's used to heal or harm. But it remains positive or negative.

So a negative channel could "harm" living things or "heal " undead.

To sum up. They heal either way. There's no "harm" option.
