Summoning Questions

Rules Questions

I do not know if this was resolved at some point but if so I apologize for repeating it

mostly for aesthetics but I understand that it can represent a potential abuse

let's say for example I want to summon a horse.

-heyy master summon my horse when leaving the inn looking down on the villagers and I'm trying to look cool.

I can choose the race of the horse, if it is a stallion or a mare, if it is a young specimen or an old one. that is of a specific color or with spots of various colors if it is a skinny animal or is fat. Can I even summon a donkey instead of a horse?

I can make my triumphant start with a young stallion, slender tall and well fed white immaculate with a black spot in the middle of the forehead that looks like a five-pointed star.

I could also say that I need a disguise for a neighborhood with bad reputation and I want to conjure an old horse, skinny, cross-eyed or half-eyed and toothless. whose pedigree makes him doubt even that his parents were horses, that he has scabies and missing pieces of hair. the kind of animal that more than arouse envy or desire to steal from someone, make people think about how much life they have left or whether they can carry a man.

I can do some of this or just summon a horse and I trust that the master will provide?
Is there any rule about it?

and we are going to say it also t@%~, hey master I summon a Vendenopterix with purely scientific intentions but above all that his real form has t##% of size (enter your size here) can I do that master?

I hope I have got a slight smile from someone with luck that will bring a quick response, I also apologize for the orthographic or contextual errors and I hope it has been clear enough

There are no Core rules for the aesthetics of what is summoned, the only choice is the kind of creature summoned in most of the summoning spells. So by the GM's fiat only I would say.

You get "a horse", not "this particular horse" nor "a horse with these exacting specifications". You don't even get the same horse between summonings unless the horse is your guardian spirit.

I'd read Summon Monster 1 spell a bit more closely.
"... It attacks your opponents to the best of its ability. If you can communicate with the creature, you can direct it not to attack, to attack particular enemies, or to perform other actions.
... The spell conjures one of the creatures from the 1st Level list on Table: Summon Monster. You choose which kind of creature to summon, and you can choose a different one each time you cast the spell."

hmmm... I'll assume you don't speak horse so that leaves Handle Animal skill which takes a full round for a 'push'.

The second part means it is a generic monster from a book, not a specific one.

On aesthetics if there is no mechanical advantage I don't see an issue. That also means that a summoned creature isn't going to provide any kind of circumstance bonus (other than a penalty to Stealth or Diplomacy for attacking).

Sum Mon 1 is short duration of CL rounds. You might try Mount as it has a longer duration. "You summon a light horse or a pony (your choice) to serve you as a mount. The steed serves willingly and well. The mount comes with a bit and bridle and a riding saddle."
