Bloodrager familiar what happens when it dies

I’m a bloodrager (arcane).. That took a familiar instead of my first level bloodrager power. What happens if my familiar dies? How do I get it back. How do I re summon it?

You buy a new one and spend some time with it connecting.

I have a ranger character who has had a few pet cougars killed. I am on Snowball 3 now.

Familiars have fairly standardized rules for this stuff:
1. Wait one week in game.
2. spend 200 gp per level (just the bloodrager levels, plus levels from any other class with a familiar you might have that stack).
3. do an 8 hour ritual.

Yes. It is a lot of trouble. That is why most people are afraid of using their familiars as anything other than a stat booster. Compared to animal companions (which you can replace for free after a 24 hour ritual), they are often too valuable to risk in direct combat.
