Multi ClassedVigilante Question

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I am not sure if this is the correct place to post so if I am wrong please move to the proper place :).

I am playing with builds and am looking at a monk/vigiliante but see that if the Vigiliante persona takes on a non-lawful alignment that they become ex-monks, at least on Herolab.

I am under the impression that the Vigilante would allow that to be by passed or am I misunderstanding something?

Thanks for helping my unclear ambiguity to become clear ambiguity :)

From Dual Identity "For the purpose of meeting a qualification for a feat, class, or any ability, he is only eligible if both of his alignments meet the requirements."

So as long as I remain Lawful the monknavilities are a go through the unclaimed monk then correct

Yes, so long as BOTH vigilante and social identity have a lawful alignment.

Liberty's Edge

That is the easiest solution. Alternatively, if the non-lawful social persona is important to your concept, you could use the Splintersoul Archetype, and be a monk with vigilante abilities ONLY while in your vigilante identity.

Oh that is interesting. I need to look into that

Thank you all. This is why I appreciate the forums.
