This right here is the first time anyone ever drew my character. (I'm the wizard with the behir-bro). I liked it so much I married the artist, started a webcomic with her, and now our characters are commissioning art of their own.

If you’ve never hired an artist to draw your character, I suggest you give it a try. I may be a words guy, but seeing a character concept become an actual person with a real face was something special. It made this purely hypothetical figure concrete in a way I didn’t know was possible. It made the imaginary real, and that may be the closest thing to magic I’ve ever encountered.

Big fan of the webcomic

Nice. Did you get the custom heroforge miniatures of your characters made for the top of your castle shaped cake?

Cheers! It's been a blast having a creative project as a couple.
