The Overlord: Skald Lich?

Advice

Hey, all. I've been having some thoughts on turning my Half-Orc Skald down the path of Lichdom, possibly using the Bardic Lich as a template to remove the problematic Fear Aura. As it stands I have plans to get to lichdom by around Lv. 15 playing RotRL.

The thoughts I've been playing with is creating undead hordes, and being able to buff them, all while hurling spells and bashing in skulls.

My question being: what would be the primary pros and cons of heading down this path? Would this be a viable option, or am I hampering myself and the other PCs?

Biggest problem is undead is immune to morale boost

With Bardic Lich you gain Requiem for the price of Aura of Fear and Paralyzing Touch.

Requiem(Su): The bardic performance abilities and mind-affecting spells of a bardic lich affect all undead as if they were living, non-mindless creatures.

Its 3rd party but seems balanced. This would take care of morale problems, right?

Ah don't know much about third party. But yeah it would solve your issue. Not sure how I feel about Raging undead seems contradictory, would it still help the party? Could be a cool idea though and we rarely see skalds so always good :)
