for the guys at my table to see what kind of game they would want to play. I have come up with a few questions for them to answer honestly. And would like to run them by you guys to see if i missed anything. It would let me know how to run the game.
1.) I would rather be?
____A.)a good adventurer.
____B.)a neutral bountyhunter
____C.)a chaotic neutral or lawful evil pirate
2.) If I had to multiclass dip i would be a ____________________?
3.) What does your pc want most of all? ____________________.
Examples:fame, money, power, Romance, fun, combat, to watch the world burn, etc etc etc.
4.) Would you leave a teammate behind?
[]yes.[]no.
5.) what is the one thing i would not want to happen to my pc? Death is not an exceptable answer.
6.) What would you do to a enemy at your mercy? ____________________.
7.) A beautiful maiden offers your choice of rewards, what would you choose?
8.) You are asked to pass judgement on a Criminal. Everything aside the person is guilty. what is your sentence?
Those are just a few i came up with. Did i miss anything important? Should i let them know why i am asking certain questions or wait until the game too let them find out?

I am pretty sure the guys at my table are straight shooters and not deep in the closet. So a lovely maiden would be more appealing then an old ugly fat dude. Wanting to know if decendents is something they would be thinking about. But that is something they would have to decide. Also it gives them a legacy character to play with if they wanted if there is a party wipe.
And if by chance one of the guys decides to play a female pc. The situation can always swap out the beauty for a studmuffin.

Well good question. but this is not a debate on morals. This is about what i can ask to feel out which way the game is going to go. John carpenter from the dresden books is a great paladin but he is still human. It is the constant actions that should define a person. You slip up once and murder someone you can go two ways feel bad or love it. Well three but thats not feeling a thing. The alignment system is kinda broken. Are you a good person if you drowned or a evil person if you drowned others by standing on their shoulders to survive? Men *and women* are never the bad guys in thier own stories unless they strive to be openly evil.
Alignment is going to be different for every person.
