Looking to trade GMing duties.

Recruitment

Hello all.

So I am getting an itch to play one of my favorite RPGS of all time: Feng Shui (more specifically, the 2nd edition of the RPG, which I haven't played yet).

I'm sure that there is at least on enterprising GM out there who has an RPG that he wants to play that he can't find a group for, or just really likes.

Here is what I propose to said GM: I would be willing to run a campaign in the RPG of your choice* if you would be willing to run a campaign of Feng Shui 2 for me.

I fully expect that this would not be a solo game (unless you really wanted yours to be, for some reason) but that we would each do recruitments for our perspective games and then go from there.

If this appeals to you, please let me know and we can talk about what game you want to run and so on.

*: I have problems running anything white wolf, and so will pass on running that.

I just ran an irl game of Feng Shui 2. It was definitely a lot of fun. Above and beyond that I've been itching to play the Mistborn Adventure Game. Before I jump in and commit though, what kind of game are you looking for? Flavor? Length? # of players? (yeah, definitely not a solo game)

Like any PBP, I'd like it to run as long as it will. The number of players and other campaign settings I'm fine leaving up to the GM who is running, since I know that different GMs have different comfort zones.

Alright, color me interested. Would you be interested in running a Mistborn Adventure Game? It's a bit different and, I don't know if you've read the books or not, but kind of a different world too. If it's not one you could get into I've got a few other things I've wanted to play, I'm sure we could find something that works.

I'll tell you what: Let me take a look at the wiki for it (I know that they're Sanderson books, so they can be pretty...thick reads). If I feel like I can get a good handle on the setting tropes and the RPG system, I have no problem running it.

Sounds fair. Either way you decide, I think I've got the bug for running a Feng Shui game now, so I'll get something going there. I gotta do some prep before I throw any sort of recruitment up. The one game I ran was a one shot so I didn't get too much into the setting at that time, but I've definitely got some ideas stirring. I expect to have something up next Monday, but don't quote me on that.

Sounds fair. I gave the book a quick glance, and since it's by Crafty games I went ahead and bought the PDF (I have pretty much all of their spycraft 1.0 and Shadowforce Archer stuff in hardback, cause they make great games).

It will probably take me about a week to dig through everything, so expect a mid-week recruitment.

Sounds good!
