I have been ruminating a bard build that uses a familiar, and it's not the archetype that gets a familiar.
So, someone one pointed out House of Green Mother's Pupil trait that acts as Iron Will to get Familiar Bond.
my question is- would the trait be enough to qualify for Improved Familiar? My bard wants a Pooka.
You need to get the follow up feat, improved familiar bond, before getting improved familiar.
Familiar bond doesn't give you the speak with animals of its kind, which improved familiar trades out.
