Sly Lourish’s Return of the Lazy Dungeon Master kickstarter is live!!!
Return of the Lazy Dungeon Master is a book designed to help all of us GMs get more out of our RPGs by preparing less. The Return of the Lazy Dungeon Master uses the experiences of thousands of GMs to help us focus on how we prepare our games, how we run our games, and how we think about our games. It includes practical steps for focusing our preparation activities on those things that will bring the biggest impact to our game.
Funded in under 24 hours and blowing through stretchgoals, this is well worth checking out!!!

One of the unlocks allows you to buy the book at coast of print on demand and shipping. They say it’s going to be be 15 bucks for the book, if you in the USA, 6 bucks shipping, plus your 13 buck pledge.
Why would someone pay extra like that, why not just wait until you can order the book and save 13 bucks. Unless I’m mid understanding.

I want it so bad... the original is my absolute favorite DM advice.

I think the print is only an option to backers, while the pdf is going to market.

Thank you for the attention!
@CapeCodRPGer: The short answer is that you'll save about two bucks over the retail price for either the hardcover or softcover version. That is assuming you want the PDF and the print copy of the book together. If all one wanted was the hardcopy version (Either soft or hardcover), than the $13 backing isn't worth it.
The $13 is giving people access to all of the digital rewards plus access to the three possible print rewards (the softcover, hardcover, and Lazy DM handbook) in print.
If you throw in the Lazy DM Handbook, which is going to be awesome, the savings increases since that's likely to be $5 for the PDF and $12 for the print copy on top of the cost of the main book.
So, in short, if you only want one copy of the book and want it only in print, the $13 backing isn't a good deal. Otherwise, it will end up saving you about two bucks over what you'd pay otherwise.
Hope that helps!
