Sudden shift (Sp) question

Rules Questions

Here it is, as per the request of Chess pwn to get me to start a new thread rather than necro another one (damn you chess pwn ur ruining my style). The questiom refers to the Sudden Shift ability that is in the Deception subdomain. What happens if the enemy attacks you and misses as your walking through there threatened space, you immediate action shift, does that provoke an AOO since its a Spell-like ability? Or do you get to shift without provoking immediately after they miss you? (You may have won this round chess pwn, but be sure Atalius the Necro lives!!!)

Hmm?

This is a spell-like ability, so it would still promote an AoO. However, most enemies lack combat reflexes, so most enemies wouldn't be able to attempt that AoO.

"SLAs only provoke if they take an action to cast (and like spells, swift and immediate actions also don't provoke)." - Mark Seifter

Furthermore, SLAs use all the rules for spells except where they don't so immediate action SLAs fall under spells rules of swift and immediate action spells which don't provoke.
