So my question is if I use say a domain power like Vision of Madness would I be able to benefit from Spell Penetration? Or does Spell Penetration strictly benefit spells only. Spell Pen says: "You get a +2 bonus on caster level checks (1d20 + caster level) made to overcome a creature’s spell resistance."
It says you get +2 on CL checks to overcome SR, period, with no specification on the type of ability that calls the SR check into question. Spell Like Abilities are subject to SR. Therefore, Spell Pen works with SLAs.

Most spell feats seem to work with SLAs (e.g. Spell Focus) with the notable exception of metamagic feats.
