Maybe I'm missing something but it seems very off that Yoon's Firestarter path has an option for "You may recharge a card to add 1d10 to your Charisma (Disable) non combat check).
Why does she need a d10 to something that she does not have a skill in (being disable). Feels like she is missing an upgrade that would give her the disable skill first.

Not necessarily. I think it's just a way for the designers to let you boost a very particular "untrained" skill *without* pumping it up all the way to "your non-combat Dexterity check" (for example, since Disable often enough has Dexterity as alternative); or conversely, they in particular want to boost you against non-Dexterity pure Disable checks (of which, there're a fair number in MM, iirc)

To be fair, this was irking me as well, until I looked on the flip side: the other way these powers could've gone would be something like "Use your Constitution die for your Disable check" (for Yoon) or "Use you Survival skill for your Diplomacy check" (for Channa Ti). I suppose these wordings *wouldn't* bother us then, but we would in fact end up with a weaker boost. So, enjoy the "free" 1d4 that you probably wouldn't get in older sets :)
