doubts about charge action

Rules Questions

hello we have a doubt about the charge action.
if some one charge form point A to the point B.....
but its another enemy just aside in the charge line ( C ):

the "C" enemy make an atack.... the charger "A" loose the DX bonus againt the "C" enemy?

A ----------------------------> B

C

charging never causes you to lose your dex bonus.
Though A after he starts his charge has a -2 to their AC. So C will benefit from this lower AC of A from his charge.

So, let me be sure I'm reading this right.

The situation is that A is charging B, and then gets attacked by C. The question is does A still lose their Dex bonus to AC against C?

No. Because you don't lose your Dex bonus to AC. You just have a static -2 to AC during the turn you charged.

But yes, A does have the -2 to AC if they are attacked by C.
