Questions in regards to Darkness and Shadowmind

Rules Questions

Had a couple questions here I was hoping I could get some clarity with. If I cast darkness and say it causes an area to go to darkness, then I use Shadowmind on a Rakshasa (who has true seeing), would he be able to still see?

True seeing: The subject sees through normal and magical darkness

Shadowmind: Even targets that see normally through magical darkness suffer a loss of vision from this spell.

To me it sounds like they wouldn't be able to see?

hmm?

Well, True Seeing also negates illusion spells. Shadowmind is an Illusion (Figment) spell and creates "an illusion of darkness", so the Rakshasa's True Seeing would ignore both the Darkness spell and the Shadowmind spell.

ahh, thank you I missed True Seeing negates illusion.

Anytime, happy to help. :)
