Hi all, just a quick question.
Magical Racial Traits
Elemental Assault (Su) Once per day as a swift action, a suli can shroud her arms in acid, cold, electricity, or fire. This lasts for one round per level, and can be dismissed as a free action. Unarmed strikes with her arms or hands (or attacks with weapons held in those hands) deal +1d6 points of damage of the appropriate energy type.
Would this apply to natural attacks also if one were a wild shaped druid?

Generally speaking, supernatural abilities do not require humanoid form to activate.
However, the specific reference to "unarmed strikes with her arms or hands" implies that there is a limit on which attacks Elemental Assault can be used with. IMO, a wild shaped druid would need to select a specific one or two natural attacks that would benefit (a single pair of claws, a bite, etc.) based on the "limbs" used, instead of applying it to all natural attacks.

Literalist reading: natural weapons are neither unarmed strikes (made with arms and hands or otherwise) nor held in the hands, so they cannot be used with this ability.
Conservative reading: It's probably intended to mean attacks associated with the hands and arms, not to exclude natural weapons. That means that claws on the hands would work - but not claws on paws, or hooves on forelegs, or other forms of natural weapons.
Liberal reading: The rules assume humanoids. Forelimbs can be considered analogous to arms in this case, so claws or hooves on front limbs would work.
Reasonable houserule: pick a natural weapon, it's not OP on a bite.
