Absolute Loyalty and returns to life as a chaotic evil

Rules Questions

Hello,
if a creature dies and the creature being restored to life must be willing for the effect to work—the creature to be reincarnated knows that accepting the offer to come back to life enslaves its soul to Angazhan (resulting in the shift to chaotic evil and the drive to seek out and replace the current Gorilla King).

Can a character use the absolute loyalty to change his alignment ?

You gain the one-time ability to immediately cast atonement upon yourself as a spell-like ability upon performing an act or being subjected to an effect that spell affects. This ability can only be used while you are acting in the service of your liege (an individual of higher social standing chosen when you take this feat).

Looks to me like soul-enslavement changing your alignment would qualify, as long as coming back to life was done in service to your liege. That's up to the GM to determine.

Also, resetting your alignment away from CE will not, IMHO, get rid of the actual enslavement. So it's probably a bad idea to take the offer.

To get rid of the actual enslavement, destroy the artifact is a good mean, I think, that's right ?

I'm not familiar with the adventure in question, but destroying evil artifacts is always helpful. :-)
