Why is my Avatar now a Smurf?

Hi,

I'm in a PbP on these forums, and as of today or maybe yesterday when I post my avatar is now a Smurf.

My PC is Sister Soliel Levant. In the thread you'll see what the avatar should look like and then at then end the smurf avatar I now have. I never changed the avatar since creation, and in all other places it just shows as the original avatar.

While this is a bit funny, I would eventually like to post with my actual avatar.

EDIT: Well, lol, looks like my main avatar is a smurf too!

Anytime you type "smurf" in a post (or even quote it), your avatar turns into a smurf.

Could be the phrase "Soliel's morphed" with smorph being picked up as a variation?

I should add that it only changes the avatar for those posts with the word in it, your main did here because you posted the name in it. Post without mentioning s.... and it should be your regular avatars.

Got it, thanks all. Almost 7 years on these forums and I never knew!

We don't come out and smurf as much anymore.

I still miss the double post smurf bug! PMG actually change my picture to a smurf for that one. :D

Will the system assign a smurf if you do not have an avatar?
