question about Scarab Sages retirement and GM chronicles

I have a PC to whom I have applied some GM chronicles that won't kick in until she reaches level 7 (likely quite a while as she is only level 2 now). If these chronicles have Scarab Sages boons on them, what happens when the Scarab Sages faction retires and she has to choose a new faction? My understanding is that any boons that she had already earned prior to the retirement of the Sages will continue to benefit her, but what about a boon that is on a chronicle sheet that she has already received, but that does not yet apply to her because she is not yet high enough level?

not to mention who gets to utilize the special faction bonus in some recent scenario if the faction is retired before we get to it.

The chronicles that give those Scarab Sages boons are not going to change. So they will have to have a mechanism to award those boons after the faction is retired.

My guess is that the new faction can be used to qualify.

That's how I would interpret it too, but it would be nice to an explicit statement from PFS HQ.
