Do you mean Reincarnation instead of Resurrection?
yup that is what i meant. but like i said i was tired when i posted.
i don't get what your saying wolfsnap.
what i meant to ask is if anyone had any interesting suggestions on a non-normal race a person could be reincarnated as.

The new Inner Sea Races Reincarnation table lists the 7 core races in the Core Incarnation table, and 34 Other Incarnations in the Other Incarnation table. The Other Incarnations include the 7 races from the Uncommon Races chapter, the 12 races from the Rare Races chapter and 7 of the 9 races from the Other Races section of Rare Races chapter.
You might want to define "unusual" and "normal", as well as what might get "straight up killed".
As is, you're really just asking for a random creature.

I'm presuming the concern is that the reincarnate table consists of core races and "typical enemy" races eg orc, goblin, bugbear.
The unusual races in the ARG are a good place to start - gillmen, vishkanya are pretty visibly weird (gills and serpentine, respectively). There are also the various animal-like races (catfolk, ratfolk, tengu/ravens, nagaji/snakes, grippli/frogs, vanara/monkeys) You could also consider one of the alien races from People of the Stars - four-armed Kasatha or seasonally-adapted frilly-eared Triaxians are probably the most physically distinct.
As Queen Morgan says, it really depends on your table's standards.

normal as in human, elf, dwarf, half-elf, half-orc, halfling, and gnome. all of these are normal races.
i could make this simpler.
you just died and you rolled a natural 20 on your reincarnate spell thingy. and your GM is "dude what do you want to be other then the regular (core) races? just don't pick something that is known to cause fear in panic in the core races."
so no
drows
beholders
basilisks
half-dragon mindflayers
just trying for some ideas for reincarnate for an npc party follower.

So you want a GM's Choice.
Something bipedal, 2 armed humanoid, without any weird racial powers.
Catfolk, Faun, Ratfolk.
Satyr (weird powers), Centaur, Half-Ogre .
Any of the humanoid-animal races (brain not working here) like badger-people, dog-people. Can't remember if they are PF or 3PP right now.

Centaur, Faun, and Satyrs are not allowed by the rules because you reincarnate as the same creature type, and they are not humanoids. Same with beholders, basilisks, and mind flayers of any stripe.

With no information on the setting or type of character reincarnated - Kasatha. They are physically neat and I wouldn't likely play one otherwise, but don't bear a strong resemblance to anything typically monstrous.

the table standards is there is no table standards because it is the best way to f&+~ with the players head. the rules are there is none unless you got to have rules to have fun (basic core book rules) there may be a whole bunch of homebrew or none at all. really depends on how much or not the rule Nazi can handle it. but really i rather sit down and play.
so......
you have died but your god is like time for you to go back as something different (because your god is cheap and can't afford the expensive spells). anything with two arms two legs one head a maybe tail is fine some powers are okay but nothing that would make them all powerful. so no phenomenal cosmic powers.
weirdo rolling a 20 is a critical and for the spell it is anything your dm wants and because you have been paying the Dm's bill he tosses "the big book of humanoids" at you and tells you to pick a new race pick anything you want but bare in mind you will be waking up in a battle field dazed and confused and there is a group of humanoids slaughtering those green small humanoids so chose something that is not going to make the party members shit a brick and wana slay you out right or run away.
let me tell you of a short story about a dm that did not chose wisely and chose to create a female drow as his friendly party follower only problem is that that npc was a hostage to a small group of low power demons visiting from out of town and so the intrepid heroes set out to free this town of this group of demons and thier drow mistress focusing on taking out the female drow cleric first by cutting her head off with the bbeg's hand. thus ended a perfectly innocent npc's life because her unfortunate choice of a race who's females are super evil and manipulative.
also thank you to those who did give suggestions. it gives me something to read and ponder.

I feel like my sincere suggestion was dismissed out of hand.
First, the dictionary definition of "humanoid" is "human-like," and kasatha arguably fit better than catfolk or centaurs, which both resemble animals at least as strongly as humans. Centaurs don't even fit the "2 arms 2 legs" requirement which was only mentioned after I suggested kasatha.
Second, the spell certainly uses the PF glossary definition of humanoid, and while the GM can always override rule limitations, there us nothing in the Reincarnate spell that suggests the "GM Choice" line in the table is intended to be free of the normal type limitation on the spell.
Third, table standards are absolutely relevant because my gaming group would not have killed an apparent prisoner just because they were a female drow. My group certainly would not be tempted to kill a four-armed person that was offering no harm, simply because we found its 4 arms weird and threatening.
