How does Channel Entropy interact with Channel Smite?

Rules Questions

How does the Channeler of the Unknown's Channel Entropy class feature interact with Channel Smite? It neither channels positive to harm the undead, or negative to harm the living, but instead channels the void to harm all living, nonliving, and undead. This is for PFS, just to be clear.

Channel Entropy: "A channeler of the unknown can channel entropy as a cleric channels negative or positive energy, releasing a wave of twisting void that harms creatures in the area of effect. The amount of damage dealt is equal to that an evil cleric of her level would deal by channeling negative energy, except it affects living, unliving, and undead creatures alike. This functions in all other ways as a cleric’s channel energy class feature, including benefiting from feats that affect channel energy (such as Selective Channeling). This alters channel energy."

Channel Smite: "Before you make a melee attack roll, you can choose to spend one use of your channel energy ability as a swift action. If you channel positive energy and you hit an undead creature, that creature takes an amount of additional damage equal to the damage dealt by your channel positive energy ability. If you channel negative energy and you hit a living creature, that creature takes an amount of additional damage equal to the damage dealt by your channel negative energy ability. Your target can make a Will save, as normal, to halve this additional damage. If your attack misses, the channel energy ability is still expended with no effect."

If the archetype ability says it works like the standard ability, it counts as that ability. If the archetype's ability requires you to make a specific choice for the standard ability, it counts as that ability. Otherwise, the archetype ability doesn't count as the standard ability.
Pathfinder Design Team, 07/12/13"

As written it seems like you qualify and can spend a use but you have no effect.
Obviously the intent is to tie your channel to the blow, but that's not what the feat says.

While searching for something else I came across the Elder Mythos Cultist Archetype with Channel Void, which deals damage like channeling negative energy, but is not negative energy and deals damage to living creatures, "fleshy" undead, and "fleshy" constructs.

It further states: "For the purposes of feats that require channel energy but refer to what happens if the character channels positive or negative energy, this ability alters the listed effect for negative energy. For instance, an Elder Mythos cultist could use Channel Smite to damage living or fleshy creatures with his melee attack."

Would this be a precedence for allowing Channel Smite to work with Channel Entropy?

No because channel entropy doesn't have a line saying it counts as negative channel for feats like that one did.

And if it did work, aka counted as negative for the feat, the feat would only work against living enemies still, it wouldn't do anything against an undead hit.
