What do we know about intelligent undead in Starfinder?

General Discussion

I have an NPC who I'd like to be an undead mystic. I imagine Pact Worlds is going to include rules on intelligent undead in its Eox section, but I'd prefer not to wait until March to stat up this NPC (I could handle a little bit of retconning once the book comes out, but it would be good to maintain continuity as much as I can.)

So, what do we know about intelligent undead in Starfinder? Official material? Rumors? Speculation?

I think there’s going to be a gazetteer article on Eox in the Dead Suns #3. You’ll probably find some of the info you’re looking for in there.

Oh cool, waiting until Wednesday is much more palatable than waiting until March!

There's an intelligent ghoul in the free SFS scenario, an intelligent bone trooper in Dead Suns #1, and a necrovite NPC in Dead Suns #1. Necrovites are also described in First Contact and the Alien Archive.

It looks like most intelligent undead can be used similar to living characters, and undead elabrians (atleast) are considered proper citizens of the pact worlds. Rules for building them would probably be a case of going through the steps in Alien Archive, applying undead and class grafts.

I heard there's also going to be undead stuff in dead suns #3 like ghoul grafts and necromantic augmentations.
