Occultist Geomancer help

Rules Questions

Good afternoon!

Got a question. The new occultist archetype is a "geomancer", how many are the implements, only one? I can not understand from the description.

Thank you for your help.

I'm still delving into the Occult book, but the way I read Geomancer is you have two implements at first level, but one of them is automatically Geomancy - an implement only a geomancer has. Otherwise it works like any other implement, except you don't carry it around - you stand on it!

Wow! Then this archetype is very good, thank you.

2bz2p is correct. The archetype effectively grants you "the land around you" as an implement and forces you to choose it as well as its two focus powers at specified levels.

It's a good archetype, for anybody looking for a martially inclined "Guardian of Nature" character it stacks with Panoply Savant so you can take Trappings of the Warrior and have your full BAB nature magic warrior.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I want to like it, it’s just so hard to give up on Haunt Collector and Psychodermist.
