we know per this FAQ that 1/2 orcs qualify/counts as human for everything.
from Advanced Race Guide, they have an alternate racial trait that replace their darkvision :
it's called Skilled, it gives
Second- and third-generation half-orcs often favor their human heritage more than their orc heritage. Half-orcs with this trait gain 1 additional skill rank per level. This racial trait replaces darkvision.
Humans have a basic racial trait "skilled" (same power) that can be replaced by various alternate racial traits : "heart of the xxx"
can an 1/2 orc go Darkvision --> skilled --> heart of the xxx

It only counts for effects ON the character, not racial traits, feats, etc. The racial traits are for that particular race only.
Look at racial qualifications for feats, they all say "human or half-orc" or "half-orc or orc", half-orcs do not qualify for ones that say "human" or "orc" only.
Even taking the Adopted trait as well only allows you to pick "race" traits for another race, not "racial" traits.

This is not true as of 2013, as per the FAQ the OP already cited.
However, toastedamphibian is correct that you can't replace a racial trait you don't have.

The real problem is that you already replaced a half-orc racial trait to get Skilled, so you can't replace Skilled again to get yet another alternate racial trait.
If a half-orc were meant to be able to get human alternate racial traits that replaced Skilled, there would be language like that in the Duergar alternate racial trait "Dwarf Traits".
