In an upcoming game I've got a gestalt cleric/shaman and I'm wondering what type of spells would be best to pick up with mystic past life. I'm looking at holy sword to buff an allies weapon, but I'm not sure what else to grab.
look through the inquisitor spell-list and grab utility spells that other divine casters don't usually get... invisibility, detect thoughts, arcane sight, imp invis, telepathic bond, legend lore, etc. Or grab some litanies if you prefer. you could also look at the druid list for more cc and damage options (though I think shamans already get a bunch of those, iirc).
Are domain spells considered to be on the cleric spell list? Because if so that offers up a lot of utility spells I could grab, however that would mean if i picked holy sword i would get it as a 7th level spell instead of 4th level.
I don’t believe domain spells count as being on a divine spellcasting list... it couldn’t hurt to ask your GM though... they’re running a gestalt game so they might be a little more lenient about what spells you can choose from.
