The rule for harvesting trophies is another rule I have really liked, but I was wondering a few things:
a) The creation/preservation phase of the process lists no time for the process...does it means it is instantaneous? Is it based on the trophy value and uses the normal Crafting rules? But in that case, how it is possible to stay within the 24 hours of duration of the trophy and not have it wasted while you are crafting?
b) There is no way to accelerate the identifying and harvesting phases?
Not even rolling 2 or 3 times the DC would reduce this to 1/2 or 1/3 as the crafting rules?
Thanks,
Skarm

(a) Having read over the section in question, these issues don't seem to be addressed. Maybe post this in the Ultimate Wilderness Potential Errata thread?
This thread is for posting all potential errata, errors, or obvious FAQ candidates in one location.
Please post the page number, what the rule/issue is, and an explanation of what the potential error or ambiguity is.
(b) Those phases only take 1 min and 10 min respectively, so I'm not sure why you would care about accelerating them. Are you trying to harvest a creature's parts before its mate gets back to the lair or something?

Thank you, Fuzzy-Wuzzy! :)
I had seen after making my three Ultimate Wilderness posts and I thought may be I should have re-posted them there, but then I couldn't find it again!! :O(b) Those phases only take 1 min and 10 min respectively, so I'm not sure why you would care about accelerating them. To be honest I am more worried about the potential preservation phase, but having the possibility to accelerate the action is still useful...for example, if you are harvesting in a dangerous environment, like you suggested...
Thanks! :)
