I had a rules question/clarification.
At 3rd level, a sacred sentinel can heal wounds (her own or those of others) by her touch.
Each day, she can use this ability a number of times equal to 1 + 1/2 her sacred sentinel level. If she has established her strategic protection, she can use this ability on a selected ally within range of the aura without having to successfully touch the ally. This ability restores 3d8 hit points, increasing to 4d8 at 6th level, and 5d8 at 9th level.
Healing touch qualifies as the lay on hands ability for the purpose of prerequisites requiring lay on hands, and abilities that work with lay on hands (such as mercies).
The question for the class feature it advises that the class feature qualifies for the purpose of prequisites requiring lay on hands and abilities that work with lay on hands....
One example would be greater mercy? Greater mercy would work with healing touch? What about magic items like bracers of the merciful knight? Or other feats such as extra lay on hands?

Greater mercy requires the mercy class feature, so you can't take it unless some other class has given you that. In which case healing touch should work fine with it, and you can then use healing touch for Ultimate Mercy too.
Similarly, bracers of the merciful knight specify a paladin wearer. If you are one, they should (IMHO) boost both your actual lay on hands and your healing touch. (Alternatively, a nice GM might just say they work for any paladin or any sacred sentinel, but that's not RAW.)
Extra Lay on Hands would give you extra usage of your healing touch OR your actual lay on hands (if a paladin), your choice, but not both.
You are also all set for Reward of Life, Word of Healing, etc.

Thank you for the clarification. Thanks for understanding my meaning. Correct the extra lay on hands would the same as extra channel that it would only apply to one of the class features if you have multiple sources. I was more concerned on some of the other feats and magical items that affect lay on hands would also affect healing touch. Hopefully Paizo will generate. FAQ on this to clarify any wording it requires for magical items and feats.

Sadly, FAQs and errata for Player Companions are almost nonexistent, due mainly (as I understand it) to issues with the teams that write them not being the core development teams. PFS might have mentioned the issue in their Campaign Clarifications document; while that's not binding outside PFS, it's the closest you're going to find.
