Swallow Whole damage in new book

Hi, first post here, hoping to get some clarification :)

In the new Wilderness book, there's an ability that grants the Swallow Whole monster ability under certain conditions. How is the per-round damage determined for this ability? Swallow Whole says the damage on the first round is equal to bite damage, but that damage for subsequent rounds should be listed in the creature entry. Since the ability in in the Wilderness book doesn't say what the damage should be, I was wondering if one of you guys could help me out.

Thanks! :)

Hmmm, reverse engineering from the T-Rex's Swallow Whole I'd say 1 die lesser than what your Bite attack is plus your Strength modifier.

PCs sometimes get non-damaging Swallow Whole, but it’s a good addition to the errata thread.
