Hello. I'm getting ready to get back into playing Pathfinder and I'm in the process of making an Aasimar Cleric and wanted to get some clarification on the Aasimar favored class option for Cleric. Is the +1/2 damage to channel energy against undead or alignment channel damage against evil outsiders a damage multiplier (example: at 1st level I roll 6 points of damage from 1d6 and add 3 points of damage from favored class option) or does it add only add +0.5 point of damage each level to a maximum of +10 points at 20th level? Thank you.

Which do you think is more likely? That it increases damage by 50% each time it is taken (ultimately becoming 10x damage, or 100d6 damage at 20th) or that it adds a 1/2 point of damage each time it is chosen (ultimately +10 damage)?
It is an additional 0.5 damage each time the option is taken.

I asked primarily because I haven't played in a few years and while adding 50% damage every level would become overpowered quick, I still wanted the clarification to make sure I was playing it correctly. I thank you all for aiding me with the clarification I sought.
